David Finch began his career working for Top Cow Productions in titles like Cyberforce, Ascension, The Darkness, etc.
After a hiatus, he returned to the industry in 2003 to work for Marvel in the Ultimate X-Men project along with Brian Michael Bendis. In 2005, he worked on the New Avengers title and has also worked on Moon Knight, Fallen Son, The Death of Captain America, X-Men: Messiah CompleX, and X-Men: Second Coming. Finch signed an exclusive contract with DC Comics and multiple covers for DC’s Brightest Day series. He took on Batman: The Dark Knight where he played the role of both artist and writer.
After a 15-issue run on Batman: The Dark Knight, David Finch left to start penciling Justice League of America with writer Geoff Johns. He was also the artist for the Forever Evil miniseries, also with writer Geoff Johns.
Finch is also a part of the creative team for New 52 Wonder Woman along with his wife Meredith Finch, taking over the reins from the previous team of Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang.
