Project Description

Kody Chamberlain

Appearing: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Kody Chamberlain is an award-winning writer and artist working with the best publishers in the business including BOOM!, Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, IDW, and Image Comics. He’s earned a vast list of credits as a writer and story artist with 343 Industries, HarperCollins, Funny or Die, MTV, Sony, Warner Bros., Universal, and Webtoon. Notable projects include 30 Days of Night, HALO, The Ride, Shang-Chi/Deadpool, Beowulf, Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter (animation), Punks the Comic, The Foundation, and the horror series TAG with comic legend Keith Giffen. Kody often produces work start to finish as a solo creator including script, pencils, inks, lettering, coloring, and book design, a workload typically done by a team of four to six creators. His breakthrough crime series Sweets: A New Orleans Crime Story (Image Comics) is one of those projects, and was described by CRAVE as “a bob-and-weave of story that talks like a Tarantino film.” Kody is currently hard at work on an all-new, yet unannounced, crime series to premier in 2020.
